Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
AMINOS is built to be private by default. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is stored, and the choices you have.
1. Local-first data
The compounds, schedules, cycles, dose logs, inventory, application-site history, weight, nutrition, sleep, side-effect entries, and photos you add are stored locally on your device. You can use the core app without creating an account, and this data stays on your device unless you choose to sign in or export it.
2. Optional account & sync
If you create an account (for example with Sign in with Apple or an email code), we store the information needed to operate that account and, where you enable it, to sync your data across your devices. This may include your name, email, a subscription/plan status, app version, and the tracking data you choose to sync. You can sign out or delete your account at any time.
3. Information you provide
- Account details such as name, email, or phone number (when provided).
- Profile details you enter, like biological sex, height, birth year, goals, and units.
- Tracking data you log within the app.
- Photos you attach to compounds or meals, which are stored with your app data.
- Feedback, feature requests, and support messages you send us.
4. Device permissions
AMINOS may request access to your camera and photo library (to attach compound or meal photos), notifications (for dose reminders and summaries), and Face ID / Touch ID (to lock the app). These permissions are optional and only used for the features you enable. You can change them in your device settings at any time.
5. How we use information
- To provide core tracking, scheduling, inventory, and education features.
- To sync your data across devices when you enable an account.
- To send the reminders and summaries you opt into.
- To manage subscriptions and entitlements through the App Store.
- To respond to support requests and improve the app.
6. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health or tracking data to serve advertising. AMINOS is a tracking and education tool — it does not provide medical advice.
7. Data retention & deletion
Local data remains until you delete it or remove the app. Within the app you can delete individual entries, clear categories of data, or delete your local account. If you use an account, deleting it removes the associated synced profile data from our systems, subject to any legal retention requirements.
8. Children
AMINOS is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
